Are the karaoke rooms private?
Yes. Every karaoke room at Game Republic is fully private for your group.
How many karaoke rooms do you have?
We have 10 private karaoke rooms: four Small Rooms, four Medium Rooms, one Luxury Room and one VIP Room.
How many guests can you accommodate?
Our rooms range from Small Rooms recommended for 1–6 guests to a VIP Room suitable for up to approximately 45 guests. A Small Room may accommodate 7–8 guests only as a more compact arrangement; please contact us before booking.
What song languages are available?
Our multilingual song library includes English, Chinese, Korean and Japanese music. Song availability varies, and our team can assist with searching the system.
What is the difference between hourly karaoke and a minimum-spend package?
Hourly karaoke is a room-hire charge for the hours booked, with menu items and beverages charged separately. A minimum-spend package includes the private room for the applicable session with no separate room-hire fee, and the package amount can be used towards eligible purchases from the venue menu.
How long are minimum-spend bookings?
Minimum-spend packages may include up to six hours of room use, subject to the selected date, starting time, availability and booking conditions.
Do you offer a separate birthday package?
No. Birthday groups choose from our standard hourly karaoke or minimum-spend room options. Registered members may be eligible for a Birthday Voucher during their birthday month.
Can I bring a birthday cake or decorations?
Birthday cakes and simple decorations may be permitted, subject to venue conditions. Please contact us in advance for larger decorations or setup requirements.
Can we bring food or arrange catering?
Game Republic does not offer sit-down meals. External catering may be considered for selected private events with prior approval and must be arranged through an appropriately licensed provider. Please contact us before making any arrangements.
Can we bring our own drinks?
No. Outside drinks and BYO alcohol are not permitted. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are available from the venue.
Is free parking available?
Yes. Game Republic is located inside Sunnybank Hills Shoppingtown, where extensive free on-site parking is available.
What happens if we arrive late?
Your booking begins at the confirmed starting time. Late arrival does not automatically extend the session, particularly where another booking follows.
Can guests under 18 attend?
Please contact us before booking if your group includes guests under 18. Entry, supervision and event conditions apply and may depend on the time and type of booking.
Do we need identification?
Guests purchasing or consuming alcohol must present valid identification when requested. Student cards are not accepted as proof of age. Game Republic may also request identification where required by law or venue entry conditions.
How do membership vouchers work?
Eligible members may receive a $30 Welcome Voucher or a $50 Birthday Voucher. For hourly karaoke, the eligible booking spend must reach at least $65 before the voucher is deducted. For minimum-spend packages, the full applicable room minimum must be reached first. One voucher may be used per booking, the holder must be present, and vouchers cannot be combined with another voucher, promotion or discount.
