Game Republic offers two main ways to enjoy a private karaoke room:
- Hourly Karaoke for shorter, casual sessions
- Minimum-Spend Packages for longer bookings, celebrations and group events
Prices vary depending on the day, starting time, room size and session duration.
How Our Minimum-Spend Packages Work
Our room packages are based on a minimum spend rather than a separate room hire fee.
The package amount can be used towards eligible purchases from the venue menu during your booking, and your private karaoke room is included for the applicable session duration.
For example, with a $668 minimum-spend package:
- Your private karaoke room is included.
- The $668 can be used towards eligible purchases from the venue menu.
- There is no additional room hire fee.
- Any spending above $668 is paid at the venue.
- A deposit or card pre-authorisation may be required to secure the booking.
This makes minimum-spend packages a practical option for birthdays, celebrations, corporate events and larger group bookings.
Hourly Karaoke
Hourly karaoke is suitable for smaller groups looking for a shorter or more casual karaoke session.
Standard rate: $8 per guest, per hour
Minimum charge equivalent to 4 guests
The hourly rate is a room hire charge only. Menu items and beverages are charged separately and do not reduce or offset the hourly room hire amount.
A peak hourly rate of $16 per guest, per hour applies after 8:00pm on Saturday evenings. Available rooms are allocated according to guest numbers and availability.

Our minimum-spend packages include use of a private karaoke room for up to six hours, unless otherwise stated.
The package amount can be used towards eligible purchases from the venue menu during your booking. There is no separate room hire fee.

What Is Included?

There is no additional room hire fee. If your group spends more than the applicable minimum amount, the remaining balance is paid at the venue.
Booking & Payment Information
Deposit or Card Pre-Authorisation
Some bookings require a deposit or card pre-authorisation to secure the selected room and session.
The required amount will be displayed during the online booking process.
- Any deposit collected will be applied towards the final booking amount.
- A deposit is not an additional charge on top of the applicable minimum spend.
- A card pre-authorisation may be held as booking security in accordance with the booking conditions.
- The remaining balance and any additional spending are settled at the venue.
Please review the payment and cancellation conditions shown during booking before confirming your reservation.
Meeting the Minimum Spend
The minimum-spend amount applies to the room for the selected session, not to each individual guest.
Your group may order eligible items from the venue menu throughout the booking. If the total eligible spending is below the applicable minimum amount, the outstanding difference remains payable.
If your group spends more than the minimum amount, only the additional balance is payable.
Final Guest Numbers and Room Allocation
Please select the most accurate guest number when making your booking.
Room allocation is based on:
- Final guest numbers
- Selected package
- Room availability
- Comfort and safety requirements
Game Republic may adjust the allocated room when necessary. Any material change affecting the applicable package or price will be communicated to the booking contact.
Arrival and Session Times
Please arrive before your scheduled starting time to allow time for check-in.
Your booking period begins at the confirmed starting time. Late arrival does not automatically extend the session, particularly where another booking follows.
Saturday afternoon packages must finish before the applicable evening booking period.
Cancellations and Changes
Changes to a booking are subject to availability and the applicable pricing for the new date, time or room.
Cancellation, refund and rescheduling conditions will be displayed during the booking process. Please review these conditions carefully before confirming your reservation.
Membership Vouchers
Newly registered Game Republic members receive an eligible $30 Welcome Voucher. Eligible registered members may also receive a $50 Birthday Voucher during their birthday month.
Voucher conditions:
- For hourly karaoke, the total eligible booking spend must reach at least $65 before the voucher is deducted.
- For minimum-spend packages, the full applicable room minimum must be reached before the voucher is deducted.
- One voucher may be used per booking.
- The voucher holder must be present.
- Welcome and Birthday Vouchers cannot be combined with each other or with another promotion or discount.
- Vouchers have no cash value and remain subject to their stated validity and membership conditions.
Pricing FAQ
Is there a separate room hire fee?
No. Our minimum-spend packages include use of the selected private karaoke room for the applicable session. The package amount can be used towards eligible purchases from the venue menu.
Is the minimum spend charged per person?
No. The minimum spend applies to the entire room and booking, not to each individual guest. Your group can share the package value across eligible venue-menu purchases.
What happens if we do not reach the minimum spend?
If your group’s eligible spending is below the applicable minimum amount, the outstanding difference remains payable. We recommend selecting a room and package that suits your group size and expected spending.
What happens if we spend more than the minimum amount?
Any spending above the applicable minimum amount is added to the final bill and paid at the venue.
Is a deposit required?
Some bookings require a deposit or card pre-authorisation. The applicable amount and payment conditions will be displayed during the online booking process. Any deposit collected will be applied towards the final booking amount and is not an additional charge on top of the minimum spend.
Can we change our room after booking?
Room changes are subject to availability, guest numbers and the applicable price for the new room. If you need to change your room or package, please contact us as early as possible. A higher minimum spend may apply when upgrading to a larger room.
Does the minimum spend include outside food or drinks?
No. Outside purchases do not count towards the minimum spend. Outside drinks are not permitted. External catering may be considered for selected private events only with prior approval. Please contact our team before making any arrangements.
